The HZERO museum offers model-making courses for adults who wish to share their skills and create a place for exchange and sharing dedicated to those who are passionate about model-making.

One Day Lab - Introductory Course
One Day Lab is HZERO’s short introductory course dedicated to all railway and scenic modelling enthusiasts.
This year, One Day Lab will be held on 20 June, and “Summer Vibes” will be our theme!
All workshop materials will be provided by the museum. The diorama created during the day will remain the exclusive property of the participants.

Location and Class Schedule
The course will last a total of 6 hours, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, 20 June 2026, at the museum headquarters in Piazza degli Ottaviani, 2/R in Florence.
Prices
Cost: €100 per person June 20th, 2026 editions.

The Digital Train – Introductory Course
Over two days, participants will deepen their knowledge of alternating and direct currents learn to recognize basic electronic components, and build simple circuits. A key part of the workshop will focus on the digitalization of a personal model brought by each participant.
All materials will be provided by the museum. The decoder used for the model’s digitalization will remain the exclusive property of each participant.

Duration: 9 hours total, over two days. Saturday, April 18th, 2026: 10 am–1 pm and 2:30–5:30 pm; Sunday, April 19th, 2026: 10 am–1 pm, at the museum’s location in Piazza degli Ottaviani, 2/R in Florence.
