Model Railroading Courses for Adults: The Educational Offer of the HZERO Museum
AN OPPORTUNITY FOR EXCHANGE AND SHARING FOR ALL MODEL RAILROADING ENTHUSIASTS
The HZERO museum offers model-making courses for adults, aiming to share its expertise and create a space for exchange and collaboration for those passionate about model railroading.
Two different courses, one short one-day course and another divided into two appointments, with the aim of delving into different aspects of model railroading, from the main reproduction techniques, to the study of electronic components, from the creation of a small diorama to the digitization of a model.
The Electronic Train – Basic Course for Adults
Over two days, participants will deepen their knowledge of alternating and direct currents learn to recognize basic electronic components, and build simple circuits. A key part of the workshop will focus on the digitalization of a personal model brought by each participant.
All materials will be provided by the museum. The decoder used for the model’s digitalization will remain the exclusive property of each participant.

The course will last 9 hours divided into 2 sessions:
- Friday, April 4: 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday, April 5: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Location: HZERO Museum, Piazza degli Ottaviani, 2/R, Florence.
Prices and Discounts
The course costs €150, with a 20% discount for those who register by Friday, March 14, 2025.

One Day Lab - Summer Edition
Our short-format One Day Lab is back after the success of the first two editions!
Participants will spend the day learning how to create a small diorama with the support of HZERO’s expert staff. For the Summer Edition, we will enhance the landscape with themed details! All materials will be provided by the museum. The diorama created during the workshop will remain the exclusive property of the participants.

- Saturday, June 21: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Prices and Discounts
